WHAT IT IS

A cylindrical planter wrapped in vertical open slats - designed so orchid roots get the airflow they actually need. 3D printed from PLA, a plant-based plastic that is light, strong, and has a soft matte surface. Comes with a matching flat saucer that sits flush underneath.

HOW TO STYLE IT

Place it on a coffee table or shelf with two or three orchid stems - the open slats frame the plant without competing with it. Works well against light walls and natural wood surfaces.

CARE

Wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth. Keep away from heat sources. PLA can soften above 60°C, so avoid windowsills in direct summer sun.

Why we leave the layer lines

Look closely at any NIKKU piece and you'll see the layers: fine ridges spiralling around its surface. Most 3D-printed brands sand them away to mimic injection moulding. We leave them. They're a record of the print head's path: 8, 10, 14 hours of motion, frozen into the object. The texture is the proof.
